Drawing Worm's Eye View with Two Vanishing Points

Here, you will learn to makeperspective drawings with two vanishing points with a worm’s eye view. To see something with a worm’s eye view means to see something from below, as if you were a worm.

Rule

Instructions for Worm’s Eye Perspective with Two Vanishing Points

1.: Draw a horizon line (Color A) and mark two points, which you call $F_{1}$ and $F_{2}$ .
2.: From $F_{1}$ , draw four lines towards the upper-right corner. You decide the distance between these four lines (Color B). Name the lines 1, 2, 3 and 4. Line 1 is on top.
3.: From $F_{2}$ , draw four lines towards the upper-left corner. You decide the distance between these four lines (Color B). Name the lines 5, 6, 7 and 8. Line 5 is on top.
4.: Find the intersection between Line 1 and Line 5. Then find the intersection between Line 2 and Line 6. Draw a line between these two intersection points (Color C).
5.: Find the intersection between Line 3 and Line 5. Then find the intersection between Line 4 and Line 6. Draw a line between these two intersection points (Color C).
6.: Find the intersection between Line 1 and Line 7. Then find the intersection between Line 2 and Line 8. Draw a line between these two intersection points (Color C).
7.: Find the intersection between Line 3 and Line 7. Then find the intersection between Line 4 and Line 8. Draw a line between these two intersection points (Color C).
8.: Draw a line between intersection points $(1, 5)$ and $(3, 5)$ .
9.: Draw a line between intersection points $(2, 6)$ and $(4, 6)$ .
10.: Draw a line between intersection points $(1, 7)$ and $(3, 7)$ .
11.: Draw a line between intersection points $(2, 8)$ and $(4, 8)$ .
12.: Draw a line between intersection points $(1, 5)$ and $(1, 7)$ .
13.: Draw a line between intersection points $(2, 6)$ and $(2, 8)$ .
14.: Draw a line between intersection points $(3, 5)$ and $(3, 7)$ .
15.: Draw a line between intersection points $(4, 6)$ and $(4, 8)$ .

As you may have noticed, the instructions for drawing from a bird’s eye view and from a worm’s eye view are almost exactly the same. The only difference is that in bird’s eye view you draw below the horizon line, and in worm’s eye view you draw above the horizon line.
